We regret to learn that Mr Kenneth Mackenzie, Lower Garrabost, received word this week that his son Kenneth, Canadians, has fallen in France. This is the second son sacrificed in this war. Murdo, who was a very promising student in the Nicolson School, was killed three years ago in Gallipoli> What increases the sadness in this case is the fact that Mr Mackenzie himself has been for a long time now confined to bed with a very serious illness. Though Garrabost has become accustomed to these sad trials the whole community extend their sincere sympathy to the bereaved parents, brothers and sisters in this case.
