Seaman Kenneth Campbell, RNR, son of Mr Wm. Campbell, 9 Portnaguran, died of pneumonia in Haslar Hospital, Portsmouth, a fortnight ago. The deceased join HMS Queen Elizabeth when she was first commissioned and served on her at the Dardanelles and afterwards until February 1917, when he went through a gunnery course. He then served on an armed merchantman until he was due to go ashore for a further gunnery course. While in barracks, he had an attack of pneumonia and was removed to Haslar Hospital where he died at the age of 23 years. Deep sympathy is extended to the sorrowing relatives.
